Our goal is to provide our essential meal box support to those in need in Statesboro, GA, and other surrounding communities in need.
With the TEFAP & USDA Emergency Assistance Program, we do our best to ensure that nutritious food is accessible to all.
Welcome to our TEFAP program, a lifeline for individuals and families facing food insecurity. This program, funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), plays a pivotal role in our mission to ensure that no one in our community goes to bed hungry.
What is TEFAP?
TEFAP, or The Emergency Food Assistance Program, is a federal initiative aimed at providing nutritious, high-quality food to low-income individuals and families. This essential program allows us to distribute food to our community members, enhancing food security, and promoting a healthier, hunger-free environment.

Over the years, we've adapted to changing needs, ensuring that food assistance remains accessible to all. We are:
- Official Partners of America's Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia Distribution Program.
- America's Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia is a volunteer-driven nonprofit food bank and community partner, serving tens of thousands of individuals at risk for hunger throughout Coastal Georgia.
- Supported by The United Way of the Coastal Empire, whose mission is to improve lives by mobilizing community support.

To access our Meal Box Program, clients must complete our intake form. This form helps us ensure that we provide tailored support to meet your family's specific needs.
Schedule Pick-Up
Meal boxes are available for pick-up on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with appointments scheduled between 11 am and 3 pm. We want to make it convenient for you to receive assistance.
