For A Hunger-Free Tomorrow

For 37 years, the Food Bank, Inc. has been dedicated to nourishing our community. Our mission is simple: to eliminate hunger and enhance the health and well-being of our neighbors in need. We aspire to create a future where every member of our community enjoys access to nutritious food, and together, we can work towards this shared goal.

The Food Bank, Inc. is a partner organization of the Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia and receives funding from United Way of Southeast Georgia.

USDA/TEFAP: The Meal Box Support Program

A lifeline for families, our Meal Box Support Program

provides essential nutrition to those in need.  Meal Boxes meet USDA guidelines for healthy, nutritious meals.

Thanks to the support of our generous donors, we provide meals to over 500 families per week, totaling about 1.6 million meals per year.

Crisis Support Program

In times of crisis, The Food Bank, Inc. serves as a community safety net. With the aid of In-Kind support (food donations), our Crisis Support Program provides food assistance to families facing crisis situations. Our goal is to ensure no one goes hungry when they need help the most.

Stronger Together: Partnering for Impact

Our Partners

We're part of a strong community network, working alongside dedicated agencies to support our neighbors. When a client needs more than food assistance, we utilize our 'Neighbors Helping Neighbors Family Questionnaire' to connect them with the right agencies.
